PAS Benefit Gig & Talk

22 August 2026 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

On Saturday 22nd August at 2pm, Pernicious Anaemia Society (PAS) member and volunteer Support Group Coordinator – Benita Johnson – will be staging a concert at Friends Meeting House, Lewes, East Sussex. The event is designed to combine a performance of live music with an opportunity to find out more about the work of PAS. Benita will talk a bit about her experience of Pernicious Anaemia and attendees are invited to ask questions and share experiences/access support in the break. The event runs until 4pm and there will be a break for refreshments half-way through.

This event may be of interest to PAS members, PA / B12 deficiency patients, clinicians, medical students, support workers, carers and, of course, folks who just like a bit of live music!

Friends Meeting House, Lewes is located in Friars Walk. There is the potential for Blue Badge parking x2 at the rear of the venue. These spots are sometimes occupied by users of the library next door, though event attendees are welcome to use them if they are vacant. On street parking may be available in Friars Walk.
The venue is fully accessible for those with mobility requirements.

The event is not ticketed, but you are encouraged to express your interest by emailing Benita so we can try to keep a tab on likely audience numbers and help avoid disappointment through oversubscription.

Donations for PAS will be appreciated!
