Professor Marco Vincenzo Lenti is a gastroenterology and internal medicine physician and researcher at the University of Pavia and Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo, Italy. He is particularly recognized for his work on autoimmune gastritis. His research has contributed to a better understanding of the diagnosis, natural history, clinical manifestations, and long-term complications of autoimmune gastritis. He has investigated early disease detection and the progression from potential to overt autoimmune gastritis, as well as its clinical and neoplastic risks.
