Support the Pernicious Anaemia Society
Participate in #givingtuesday and help us change the way in which Pernicious Anaemia is diagnosed and treated
Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday starts off the charitable season with a global day of giving. Give yourself the gift of giving and make a difference for everyone with Pernicious Anaemia.
There are lots of ways you can support the PAS. You can make a donation or donate your time and become a volunteer. Or get fundraising: get yourself sponsored and run, walk or swim. Or organise a high tea, a coffee morning, a party or bake cakes and cookies and sell them!
We are changing the way Pernicious Anaemia is diagnosed and treated by:
- providing information to patients and health professionals
- providing help and support to patients and their families
- engaging in research with the health research community
- lobbying decision makers
- working hard to change the way in which PA is diagnosed
- working hard to change the way PA is treated
Your Support is essential in achieving our goals and supporting more patients !
How can you support the Pernicious Anaemia Society?

Member Support Groups are an excellent way to relieve the feeling of isolation that patients feel and they provide the opportunity to hear how others are dealing with their condition.
Consider becoming the coordinator for your area and form your own support group!
Where do we already have a group?
- South Wales
- Isle of Man
The following groups could use an extra pair of hands:
- North Wales
- Western Australia
Your area not listed? Form a group and organise regular get togethers for PAS members. It won’t take much time and it is highly needed ánd appreciated!
