Pernicious Anaemia Society

There are serious issues concerning Pernicious Anaemia that need addressing. Politicians have a part to play, as ultimately they are responsible for the provision of health care in the United Kingdom, and other countries.

Sufferers who are able and willing to pay for private treatment are able to access treatment based on their needs, which is all to often denied to patients who rely on public health care systems. This leads to inequalities within the public health care system.

The society is busy establishing and building relationships with both backbench MPs and members of the UK government. Already our No.10 e-Petition has forced the treatment onto the political agenda.
